Also keep in mind that foreigners are, by law, unable to buy land here in the Philippines. The way to work around that is to lease the land for a nominal fee that is perpetually renewable with a clause that allows the land to be purchased and transferred in the future if/when the laws are modified. Real property can be owned by foreigners. But if you have a Filipina spouse, than you can just put the land in his or her name.
